About the book-

“Canoe Nova Scotia: Paddler’s Stories of Freshwater Routes highlights a variety of canoe routes through the eyes and stories of local paddlers form across the province. Though hundreds of hours of volunteer time, 10 authors contribute their stories on 17 routes from across Nova Scotia.

Short trips, multi-day lake trips, and river routes highlight some of the numerous paddling areas of the province. The stories are intended to be informative, beautiful and sometimes humorous at how many paddlers see and experience our natural areas.

We hope this booklet introduces you to something new, inspires you to participate in the outdoosr, and helps you take a leadership role in conserving our natural wonders of Nova Scotia”

The book includes maps with routes and pics of the trips. It is a great aid to paddling in NS. Free versions of the book are available on the Canoe and Kayak Nova Scotia website: www.ckns.ca
