Pleasant Paddling opened and starting doing sea kayak tours and rentals in 2009.  Being based out of Lunenburg was no accident, the paddling in this area is amazing and as the town is situated on a peninsula there is great water to explore all around. Add the wonderful kayaking to the extensive maritime history of this UNESCO town and you have a recipe for adventure that is truly Nova Scotian.

Karl Marsters is the owner of Pleasant Paddling and a native of Nova Scotia.  He has been a sea kayak guide since 2006 and worked on both the east and west coast of Canada.  His enjoyment of kayak guiding propels him to go out on most of the tours .
